Staying Human

I have occasionally used AI to add minor features to my webpages—actually, only three times in the past year or so that I can recall—and almost all of the html markup for my webpages is human-generated.

I also use AI for some research, although the providers of AI searching functionalities don’t make it as easy as with traditional search engines to look at a diverse range of sources.

I don’t, however, use AI to produce anything that clients pay me for, and none of the text on my website pages is written with the assistance of AI.

I don’t feel comfortable surrendering my cognitive functions and writing voice to a collection of software commands that call on a huge universe of stolen information that is connected in ways that are not disclosed, and I don’t foresee changing that policy.
