I am inexplicably starting to get targeted on LinkedIn with direct mail from people who think I would bite at work to train AI. I’ve never gotten these offers before, and I’m a bit confused as to why they’ve started now. Well, I guess it’s simply because I have an account on LinkedIn, and desperation is a salient characteristic of the LinkedIn user population. Sorry, I’m good.
I suggest these people look to the Global South, where they can find an even more abundant supply of desperate people looking to do anything that they can do from where they’re stuck.
