September 14, 2025: Added a section to our FAQ addressing questions from students and beginning translators.
September 13, 2025: Major modification of website design.
September 8, 2025: Partner company Kototech Corporation, having registered its liquidation on July 2, 2025, has a new email and contact information at Kirameki.
November 23, 2024: Reinstated documentation of my presentations at conferences (because they are not available at the website of the organization that ran the conferences), but subsequently removed them all, in view of the futility and changed priorities for freelancers wishing to survive.
November 23, 2024: Uploaded Chapter 5 of the ATA Japanese Patent Translation Handbook and a revised edition, both written by Lise.
September 17, 2024: Removed all content of the Cave section of the website, basically because much of the content was directed at helping freelance translators survive AI, and that has become a rather futile enterprise for most freelancers.
March 16, 2024: We renew our commitment not to use artificial intelligence to create artificial translations, for some good reasons.
February 29, 2024: The Content for Translators section was removed.
June 15, 2021: Overall site rebuild, aiming at making the site more mobile friendly.
