- As part of a continuing effort to reduce reliance on proprietary platforms and formats, the blog associated with this website was removed, the last remaining article being migrated to the section created here for the dwindling population of surviving translators.

- Reinstated documentation of my presentations at conferences (because they are not available at the website of the organization that ran the conferences) and also Chapter 5 of the ATA Japanese Patent Translation Handbook and a revised edition, both written by Lise.

- Reinstated the short article emphasizing the importance of understanding what Russia is doing with its war of aggression and expansion in Ukraine.

- Removed all content of the Cave section of the website, basically because much of the content was directed at helping freelance translators survive AI, and that has become a rather futile enterprise for most freelancers.

- We renew our commitment not to use artificial intelligence to create artificial translations, for some good reasons.
