Slide Rule Collecting in Japan
Just as in anywhere, people advertise slide rules in online auctions in Japan. But you can also still find slide rules in the quickly dissappearing stationery stores in Japan, if you select the right type and age of shop.
This is a collection of Ricoh slide rules that I obtained in a single visit to such as shop in Tsuruhashi in Osaka.
My current collection is but a small part of my former collection, which numbered over 450 specimens. It now consists of only 51 specimens.
