Although our main business is providing language services to corporations and law firms, we also provide translation and interpreting to individuals.
Translation
We can provide certified translations of a diverse range of documents that might be required by individuals, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Resident records (住民票)
- Family registers (戸籍謄本)
- Reports of marriage (婚姻届)
- Certificates of employment (在職証明書)
- Divorce Judgments (離婚判決)
- Salary-related documents (給料明細など)
- Bank-related documents such as passbooks (通帳など、銀行関係の書類)
Interpreting
In addition to our long and diverse legal interpreting track record serving legal and corporate clients, we have a wealth of experience in providing interpreting services for individuals needing to deal with various entities here in Japan. Some typical assignments include:
- Meetings regarding the submission of wills (遺言書の公正証書に関する打合せ)
- Meetings with Japanese attorneys (弁護士との打合せ)
- Mediations & conciliation conferences at family courts (家庭裁判所の調停など)
- Visits to detention facilities (拘留施設などの面会)

Payment Methods
We can accept payment from individuals by:
- PayPal,
- bank transfer made from a bank in Japan to our corporate bank account in Japan, or
- bank transfer from a bank overseas to our corporate bank account in Japan (after consulting us with regard to bank handling fees).
