This is mostly my presentations at Japan Association of Translators conferences. It resides here because large amounts of such content has disappeared from the JAT website, making that website questionable as a place to house content that could be of lasting value. Too much has already been lost or deleted. I started restoring old blog posts and website articles also, but have abandoned those efforts as futile and not beneficial to me. I have better things to do.

Groom & Doom (December 24, 2024 post from a recently trashed blog): How a number of factors made the replacement of professional translators by AI inevitable. Since this came from a blog post late in 2024, it is arguably not "legacy," but could be seen as such after many translators make their exit from the field.
My legacy IJET Presentations (6 of mine + one full Proceedings): IJET-5 (Urayasu, JP), -7 (Yokohama, JP), -8 (Sheffield, UK), -16 (Chicago, US), -19 (Okinawa, JP), and -30 (Cairns, AU; the most relevant one these days, with AI replacing professional translators), warts and all, plus the complete IJET-1 (Hakone, JP) Proceedings.
Legacy Website Articles (6) Legacy Blog Posts (6): There were also 25-plus website articles 10-plus legacy blog posts that had been readied for restoration. All of these have been deleted and abandoned. I can neither help potential survivors nor convince delusional dreamers to wake up, and I get nothing by writing web articles about that.
