- Legacy Web Articles
- (Restoration work to start by December 7, 2025)
[The above content, being recently restored by me in a fit of organizational ferver, are justifiably called legacy. I also have written a page describing how I got into translation, which resides on the business-side of this website.
This website section will be the new home of my legacy content (presentations, past blog articles, and web articles) written for colleague translators. No new content for professionals will be uploaded.
The trigger for my restoring this old (and some rather new) content was the realization that, particularly with regard to numerous presentations I have done, the current state of the website of the Japan Association of Translators does not make it look like a place to which such textual content should be entrusted, and none of the presentations I have uploaded to this section of my website can be found on that website and is probably lost and, I see no indication that it will be found and restored.
Accordingly, to preserve at least what I have done (and also publish the IJET-1 Proceedings in its entirety, another piece of legacy content that was evidently lost by JAT somewhere along the way), I have made numerous presentations available to start with in this website section. Past blog articles and webpages will follow shortly.
