The Cave is Closed
I dug this cave to store content intended to be useful to translator colleagues facing professional translator progroms by AI-using agencies. The writing and maintenance incurred costs without any benefits. The outlook for most translators is dim, and those who will survive will do it without advice from me.
The Reasons
Because:
- only a very few professional translators will survive AI, and merely translating well will not being sufficient to survive,
- the small number of translators who will survive don't need assistance from me, and
- many of those who will not survive habitually engage in denial and aspirational delusions,
the content of this website section, which was mostly directed at colleague translators, has been permenantly removed.
