Some major tech oligarchs ostensibly envision AI obviating most jobs, the former holders of which will be given some sort of universal income.
If that is to happen, however, it would require us to abandon the underpinnings of our societies that have been dominant in ruling human activities and interaction for millennia.
That’s not going to happen, but the manipulators working this AI utopia con game are hoping that, as discussions and arguments about that go on, they can amass huge wealth and control, after which the ultimate outcome won’t matter, to them anyway.
People that sit back and allow that to happen without taking informed action are as guilty as the AI utopia promoters.
