One of my main annoyances with Microsoft\u2019s LinkedIn\u2019s (from which I have deleted everything, including all my posts and all 100-plus comments on posts from others) was the incessant promotion of AI, by both the owner, Microsoft, and users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The phoniness, denial, and delusional behavior of many users was also an influence on my decision\u2014 I have now deleted the app from my iPhone\u2014but the constant promotion of AI and shadow-banning of AI-critical posts were the major factors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AI brings us myriad things we didn\u2019t ask for, don\u2019t need. and were doing just fine without before the tech broligarchs vomited AI on us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I say fuck AI and fuck the oligarchs promoting it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let\u2019s visit the real world more often, and the real world is not AI, it\u2019s not LinkedIn, it\u2019s not Facebook, and it\u2019s not much of anything online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You access the real world by turning your computer off and heading for the door. There\u2019s a lot going on out there. It\u2019s sometimes not for the faint-hearted, but it\u2019s out there for the taking.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
