The majority of posts and comments on social media platforms\u2014that includes LinkedIn, which Microsoft purports is a business platform\u2014are generated not by humans, but by collections of computer commands executed in silicon-based entities controlled by socially irresponsible broligarchs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The purpose of much of this \u201ccontent\u201dis to catch the attention of algorithms that are also controlled by AI.\u00a0Chuck Berry\u2019s song about \u201cplaying with your own dingaling\u201d comes to mind. But I digress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The message this sends is clear, albeit arguably counterintuitive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With so much of this nonsense occupying online venues, interaction with carbon-based entities, not online but in the real world, is more important than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
