Moving from Proprietary/Technology Lock-in to a More-Generic Environment

We recently gave up our blog, for two reasons:
- Running a blog using a program available from one place only and subject to the whims of upgrades was at odds with our basic desire to avoid being locked into a particular proprietary environment for content creation and maintenance.
- Our blog was not for the purpose of interacting with readers, but rather to simply manage content. We had therefore switched the comments function off. This means that migration of the blog content merely sacrifices a function that we were not actually using.
Starting in just a few days, content will be linked to from this page. The content will be divided into three categories:
